Wedding Photography - By Tracey Foley

Firstly, congratulations! If you are hunting down a wedding photographer... then you must have recently got engaged. It's a really exciting time, and although there are a lot of decisions to make, and jobs to do, you will have the best time of your life.

Choosing a local wedding photographer isn't like selecting dresses or bouquets, as you can’t see the pictures you’re buying until after you've made your decision. In the end, your decision will be largely a matter faith. That is why it is so important to me that we get a chance to meet or talk on the phone, to discuss your requirements and ideas and make sure, that the wedding photos you look forward to, meet all your expectations.

The more questions you ask up front, the more confident and relaxed you’ll feel on and after your wedding day. If in doubt, ask! And remember, there is no such thing as a dumb question! In our consultation I will take you through my questionnaire, and answer some of the common questions such as:

  • Will you help me choose the final pictures?
  • How will you make it easy for friends and family to order reprints?
  • What is your photography style; photojournalist, traditional, mixed, etc.,?
  • What’s your time frame for preparing the pictures?
  • What’s your philosophy to photographing weddings?
  • Do you have travel fees?
  • How much do you charge?
  • Do you give any guarantees on your services and photographs?
  • Are you available on my wedding day?

Wedding photography can be a very personal thing.  Many photographers possess the technical skills but I also do my best to deliver that something special to remember your big day. Give me a call, or flick an email to discuss your ideas and answer your questions. Contact Tracey...
